This was me on Monday when I woke up for my daily data hit.
Seven days later and I feel like a whole new person! Each morning I wake up and before I have even poured myself a cup of coffee (that dark, bitter ambrosia that makes my world go round), I not only know that Tracy-Tweets-Too-Much feels like the world is falling down on her and what her midnight snack looked like; but also that Detroit declared bankruptcy, Obama made a speech about the Zimmerman trial and some more track stars are doing drugs….oh how informed and adult-like I feel!

Now that I am this politically informed, opinionated member of society, I’m having trouble finding an ancient or other informed adult of society to share my knowledge with…..whores.

Everyone is all “don’t talk about politics or religion, it’s not polite.”

Well….your thong is hanging out of your shorts and your muffin top is hanging out of your thong…I don’t think that level of indecency at your age is polite either….so….. there!

There is nothing wrong with discussing politics or varying opinions IF you do it the right way.  You could read this article on not sounding like an idiot when discussing politics or you could read my, much shorter, summary. Here it goes:

1-      Watch this rap on the functions of the 3 branches of the government. This knowledge will allow you to laugh at people when they say that the President has the Power of the Purse (it’s Congress in case you were wondering).

2-      Learn about the other side of the story. Remember: Keep your friends close and your enemies closer!

3-      Take you anti-depression pill and be less emotional about the topic….this only applies when talking to people with a differing opinion. We don’t want to hurt any wones wittle feewings.

4-      Learn to agree to disagree….shockingly we can’t always be right….unless you’re a woman (we’re always right).

Lesson #2 on my way to becoming a fully functioning adult:
