Yesterday I woke up and rolled over to get my morning data hit. I consider this first world ritual scrolling trough Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to be... almost... meditative. I'm able to learn who was out clubbing while I was making caramel delights (if you caught that reference, pat yourself on the back).
My newsfeed was anything but meditative yesterday with all of the opinions about the Zimmerman trial. After my initial annoyance, I realized that I knew nothing about the trial.... or anything else going on in the world for that matter. Shouldn't a functioning adult be well versed in political and social matters?
I guess my first endeavor into adulthood will be adding my Newstand to my morning ritual. So here's to a virgin, sports management major dabbling in the opinions of the masses.
